Thread sizes
We'll try to give you a rough idea of the thread sizes you're dealing with for a standard air ride.
There are four common inch sizes: 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2". This order also varies from small (1/8") to large (1/2").
Since most people don't have a tape measure or caliper with inch graduations on hand, we've roughly measured the threads and illustrated them for you with pictures.
The displayed values are, of course, not always the same to the nearest 1/100 for every fitting. Therefore, please use these values only as a guideline to narrow things down.
R1/8" ~ 9.5mm
R1/4" ~ 12.8mm
R3/8" ~ 16.4mm
R1/2" ~ 20.5mm
Of course, there are many other thread sizes.
