Reinforced gas springs for the tailgate of the Mercedes-Benz Vitos / V-Class 447 model series (from 2015)

Can only be used in combination with our retaining kit: item no. TA-V2-301-HS.

Note: If the payload changes, the installed gas springs should be replaced by gas springs with an adapted extension force. With gas springs over 1000 N, it is no longer possible to use the unloaded tailgate after the conversion. In this case, gas springs with reduced gas force should be installed.

Maximum total mass of the rear carrier with body: 65 kg

We can adjust the gas springs at our factory in steps of 100 Newtons up to a maximum of 1300 Newtons.

Due to the modified pivot points of our mounting kits, the extension force values are not comparable with the values of the original gas springs! Simply put, an original gas spring with 800 N, for example, pushes significantly less than our gas spring with 800 N.
