Terranger gas springs, reinforced, up to 1500 N, for VW T5 - T6.1

Reinforced gas springs for the tailgate of the Volkswagen Transporter T5, T5 GP (Facelift), T6, and T6.1*

Only for use in combination with our holding set: Part No. TA-T5-301-HS.

Note: In the case of altered payload, the installed gas springs should be replaced with gas springs with adjusted extension force. With gas springs exceeding 900 N, the use of the unloaded tailgate after modification is no longer possible. In this case, gas springs with reduced gas force (700 - 900 N) should be installed. For operation, our operating manual TA-T5-301-GF/BA must be strictly observed!

Maximum total mass of the rear carrier with structure: 75 kg

Due to the changed attachment points of our holding sets, the values of the extension force cannot be compared with the values of the original gas springs! In simple terms, an original gas spring with, for example, 1200 N exerts significantly less force than our gas spring with also 1200 N.

*These gas springs are upward compatible and therefore also fit on the T6 and T6.1.

• The system does not fit on the electrically driven tailgate.
